Your intellectual property is protected: a conference on patent analytics was held in Saransk
On October 3, 2024, the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) jointly with the Government of the Republic of Mordovia held a practical conference "Regional Patent Analytics" in Saransk.
Arsen Savva, Director General of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Tatarstan "Tatarstan Center for Scientific and Technical Information", took part in the event on behalf of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
An expanded meeting of the interregional Intellectual Property Committee of the AIRR was held within the framework of the conference, where the following issues were discussed:
1. The development of intellectual property in the regions of the AIRR: the current situation;
2. Development of a credit system secured by intellectual property;
3. The relevance of the development of a national strategy for the development of intellectual property.
The focus of the conference was on the tasks of managing science, technology and innovation in the region. The participants discussed how patent analytics helps in the formation of regional scientific and technological development programs, how to increase the share of intersectoral research and development, and how patent analytics adapts to industry and regional specifics.
A separate thematic discussion was devoted to patent research according to GOST, supplemented by world-class patent analytics. Properly organized patent research in combination with other types of patent analytics provides a valuable invoice for ensuring technological superiority, planning production development and bringing products to market (Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 591 dated 07/11/2024).
