Midhat Shagiakhmetov met with the Nizhnekamskneftekhim labor collective

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov paid a working visit to Nizhnekamsk today. During the visit, he met with employees of Nizhnekamskneftekhim. 

Midhat Shagiakhmetov said that Nizhnekamsk district is one of the leading industrial centers of the republic due to the localization of large production sites such as Nizhnekamsk SIBUR enterprise. 

Today Nizhnekamskneftekhim is one of the largest production sites for the production of synthetic rubbers and plastics in Russia. It is one of the world's leading producers of petrochemical products. The company's assortment includes over 120 types of products, including import-substituting ones.

At the meeting, the Minister noted the unconditional contribution of the labor collective to high production performance, as well as to the development of the petrochemical complex of the republic and the country.

The Minister said that the republic retains a leading position among the regions of Russia in terms of key macroeconomic indicators. In terms of gross regional product and investments in fixed assets, it ranks 6th among the subjects of the Russian Federation, in terms of construction - 2nd place, industrial production and agricultural products - 5th place, retail trade turnover - 7th place.

"Despite the new challenges, the republic does not slow down, all social obligations are fulfilled in full. Thanks to the smooth operation of enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses, the implementation of national projects of republican programs, according to the results of the last year, the gross regional product of the republic amounted to 4 trillion 320 billion rubles," the Deputy Prime Minister said. 

Let us recall that in 2019-2023, more than 180 billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of national projects in Tatarstan. Thanks to this, almost 1.5 thousand socially significant facilities have been built and reconstructed.
