Tatarstan has entered the top regions of the country in terms of business support

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia summed up the results of the work of regional microfinance and guarantee organizations of the country for the first half of 2024. Tatarstan has become a leading region in terms of the number of microloans and guarantees issued to businesses within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises".

The total amount of funds raised by the country's business exceeded 180 billion rubles. The republic's business support institutions account for more than 3 billion rubles. Tatarstan ranks second among Russian regions in terms of the number of microloans issued to businesses - 461 units. well, the amount is about 1.2 billion rubles. The republic is also among the TOP 4 regions in terms of the number of guarantees issued - 383 units worth about 2 billion rubles. 

"Thanks to the tools of the National Guarantee System, we ensure equal access to credit facilities for businesses across the country, including for start-up entrepreneurs and the self-employed. Through microfinance organizations, in the first half of 2024, the business received almost 12 thousand microloans worth more than 26 billion rubles. During the same time, 9 thousand guarantees of regional guarantee organizations were issued to businesses, which allowed entrepreneurs to receive 155 billion rubles of loans," said the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Tatyana Ilyushnikova.

"Republican entrepreneurs are increasingly seeking state financial support within the framework of the national project "Small and medium-sized Enterprises". Moreover, they attract it immediately in a complex, using guarantees and microloans from regional business development institutions. The terms of microfinance programs and guarantees are more profitable than bank offers. For example, the rate for the product "Special operation Support" is 1%," said the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Natalia Kondratova.

In Tatarstan, the Entrepreneurship Support Fund provides microloans to businesses on preferential terms from 1% per annum. Loans are provided for up to 3 years in the amount of up to 5 million rubles. Special attention is paid in the republic to support start-up entrepreneurs - for them the rate starts from 4.5%. The Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan provides guarantees in case of a lack of collateral in the amount of up to 70% of the loan amount at a reduced rate of 0.5%. Preferential support is provided to businesses within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises".
