The manufacturer of prostheses from Tatarstan received 4 million rubles of state warranty support

Support was provided within the framework of the national project "Small and medium-sized enterprises" by the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. The company will allocate funds to increase production volumes and expand the range of products.

Since 2021, Ort–Profi SHF has been manufacturing orthopedic products in Kazan. The company's product line includes prostheses of the lower extremities, fixing corsets for the spine, rigid orthoses for the lower and upper limbs, and the manufacturer also sells technical rehabilitation equipment, including walkers, crutches, and other products. 

In the manufacturing of products, the company uses hypoallergenic material and modern technologies using methods of removing plaster casts and 3D scanning, allowing to manufacture the product taking into account the individual characteristics of the patient.

On the territory of the Center, both the manufacture of individual prosthetics products and the admission of patients themselves are carried out. Specialists consult on the manufacture of prosthetic and orthopedic products, registration of documents for the Rehabilitation Program free of charge and free receipt of a prosthesis at the expense of the Social Fund of Russia, draw up a conclusion of the Medical and Technical Commission with a description of individual prosthetic and orthopedic products and technical means of rehabilitation.

In order to increase production volumes and expand the range of products, the company needed to attract additional financing. The guarantee support was provided by the regional Guarantee Fund, subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Fund acted as a guarantor within the framework of one of the products provided for by the national project "Small and medium-sized enterprises" in the amount of 4 million rubles.

"Thanks to the support of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, we have received borrowed funds in the amount of over 60 million rubles with conditions convenient for us. We plan to purchase our own premises for the development of production, including to provide a range of services to residents of the republic for the selection and manufacture of prosthetic and orthopedic products," the company said.

Let us recall that state support for business and the self-employed in the Republic of Tatarstan is implemented by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and subordinate support institutions within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises".
