The industrial concern is implementing an investment project worth 3 billion rubles in Tatarstan
Today, a solemn ceremony was held to begin the construction of a plant for the production of thermal insulation materials from mineral plates and a warehouse complex of the DoorHan concern on the territory of the Sviyazhsk interregional multimodal logistics center. The event was opened by the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. In addition, Deputy Prime Minister of the Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, founder of the international concern DoorHan Alexander Khanin took part.
The resident company DoorHan Concern is launching a new investment project worth 3 billion rubles at the SMMLC. The Russian company has been operating in the Republic of Tatarstan since 2008. Since 2021, a plant for the production of metal structures and block-modular buildings has been opened in Laishevsky district. The new enterprise will produce 70,000 tons of products per year, new jobs will be created - at least 100 per shift, the total area of the building will be 20,000 sq.m. An open storage warehouse with an area of 40,000 square meters will be located next to the plant.
Choosing the location of the SMMLC, the infrastructure of which was created at the expense of VEB.RF will allow logistics by rail, road and water transport. Also an important factor was the availability of tax and other preferences of the TAD.
The project is divided into 2 stages. The first thermal insulation production line is planned to be launched in 2027, the second line - by the end of 2030.
The Head of the Republic of Tatarstan also visited other residents of the Sviyazhsk Interregional Multimodal Logistics Center (SMMLC) - visited the elevator complex of LLC Sviyazhsk-Zernoprodukt of the August-Agro company, where he took part in the first test shipment of grain. Let us recall that the construction of the elevator complex was started in 2023, investments amounted to 2.8 billion rubles. The elevator complex will become the most innovative and fastest terminal in Tatarstan and the Volga Federal District. The feature of the elevator complex is the high speed of shipment, the elevator is able to load a train of up to 65 wagons per day, 350 tons per hour. The loading speed on the ship is 700 tons per hour. 39 jobs have been created.
In addition, Rustam Minnikhanov visited the premium paving slabs production plant of LLC "Choice-Volga region". The plant has been operating in Tatarstan since 2022, 90 jobs have been created. It is planned to produce 750 thousand square meters of tiles this year.
"Companies are increasingly choosing Tatarstan as a location for investment projects. In order to attract new investment projects and scale existing ones, the republic is continuously working to identify reserves and growth points, increase transparency and speed of passing all administrative procedures, and expand the range of proposed support measures. The growth rate of investments in fixed assets for the 1st quarter of 2024 is 139% (compared to the same period last year)," said Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov.
