On June 20, Tatarstan will host the awarding ceremony of the "Exporter of the Year" competition

On June 20, at 15:00, the award ceremony of the annual regional competition "Exporter of the Year", held as part of the events of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises", will take place.

The solemn awarding of the best exporters will take place at the Entrepreneur's House on Peterburgskaya st, 28.

Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Dinar Shakirov is scheduled to deliver a welcoming speech.

The competition has been held since 2008 by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Export Support Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The purpose of the competition is to promote the development of foreign economic activity of entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan, providing an opportunity for entrepreneurs to present the best samples of domestic products and services.

This year, in addition to the traditional 7 nominations, the competition was held for 6 additional ones.

Main nominations:

• The best exporter in the field of industry;
• The best exporter in the service sector;
• The best exporter in the field of agriculture (agro-industrial complex);
• The best exporter in the field of high technology;
• Breakthrough of the Year;
• The best female exporter;
• The best young entrepreneur is an exporter.

Additional nominations:

• The most exotic export country;
• The largest export geography;
• The best family-owned export company;
• New export product;
• The best exporter of social entrepreneurship;
• The best exporter of creative industries.

The competition aroused great interest among enterprises of the republic, about 270 applications from exporters were submitted.

The winners in the main nominations will have the opportunity to participate in an international exhibition with an individual stand as a prize. The winners in the additional ones will receive certificates for learning a foreign language.
