Tatarstan business received 1 billion rubles of preferential financial support this year

The volume of support increased by more than 50% compared to the same period last year. The support was provided by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan on favorable business terms.

"Republican entrepreneurs are increasingly seeking state financial support within the framework of the national project "Small and medium-sized Enterprises". Moreover, they attract it immediately in a complex, using guarantees and microloans from regional business development institutions. The terms of microfinance programs and guarantees are more profitable than bank offers. For example, the rate on microloans is more than three times lower than the key Central Bank of the Russian Federation," said the First Deputy Minister of Economy Natalia Kondratova.

The Deputy Minister of Economy of Tatarstan reported that 408 companies and self-employed of the republic from different business sectors received microfinance support this year. The leaders of the support are enterprises in the manufacturing sector, transport organizations, wholesale and retail trade, etc. 

Currently, there are 8 preferential microfinance products for entrepreneurs of the republic, designed for different categories and the degree of maturity of the business.

Support for entrepreneurs in the republic is being implemented by the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan and subordinate business development institutions within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship", which was initiated by the President of Russia.
