From 2019 to 2023, 180.9 billion rubles were allocated to carry out work on national projects in Tatarstan. The allocated funds made it possible to change the urban environment, the social sphere for the better, and create new business development opportunities. Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Saria Sirazieva spoke about the results of the implementation of national projects over five years, significant achievements, plans for 2024 and new directions of national projects in an interview with IA Tatar-inform.
13 national projects are being implemented in Tatarstan, which include 50 regional projects. They are designed in such areas as economic growth, human potential and the creation of a comfortable urban environment. National projects are aimed at preserving the population and its health, developing opportunities for self-realization, creating a safe environment for life, increasing the efficiency of entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.
Thanks to the allocated funding, new schools, kindergartens, health and cultural facilities have been built in the republic. During the five years of implementation, 80 general education institutions were built, which made it possible to achieve 100% accessibility of preschool education for children and to cover more than 80% of children from 5 to 18 years of age with additional education.
Support for young families and families with children is becoming more noticeable, attitudes towards the older generation have changed, more and more people have begun to adhere to a healthy lifestyle thanks to the implementation of the national projects "Demography", "Education" and "Healthcare".
There have been significant changes in the field of improving the comfort of the urban environment. In 5 years of implementation of national projects, 293 parks, squares and public spaces have been improved.
As part of the Republican targeted program for the resettlement of citizens from the emergency housing stock from 2019 to 2023, 648 premises with a total area of 20.6 thousand square meters were resettled, in which almost 1.8 thousand people lived.
