Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov spoke about Tatarstan's achievements in the national project

Nizhnekamsk has become another point in the route of the Tatarstan - Republic of Achievements bus marathon, which tells about the achievements of the republic, taking into account the implementation of national projects. A panel discussion was held in the building of the Nizhnekamsk College of Music with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Aidar Metshin, head of the Nizhnekamsk district Ramil Mullin.

Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov recalled that in 2019, national projects were launched on the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Tatarstan is currently working in 13 areas. In 2023, within the framework of national projects and republican programs, more than 4 thousand socially significant facilities worth 126 billion rubles were built and renovated.

Midkhat Shagiakhmetov announced plans for the implementation of national projects for 2024, which will continue to contribute to the overall growth of the well-being of citizens and the sustainable development of the economy of Tatarstan.

"The most important goal of national projects is to improve the quality of life and well–being of our citizens," the minister stressed.

Despite all the challenges, the republic's economy has achieved positive results over the past year. The gross regional product of the republic exceeded 4 trillion rubles with a growth rate of 103.6%, investments exceeded 1 trillion rubles with a rate of 108%.

There is a positive trend in all the main indicators of SME development in 2023. The number of SMEs increased by more than 4% and exceeded 172.5 thousand units (an increase of 7.1 thousand units).

The discussion was attended by representatives of the district asset, heads of enterprises, organizations, entrepreneurs, deputies of local government.
