Tatarstan has formed a plan to promote the development of competition

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service for the Republic of Tatarstan signed an action plan for the implementation of the Agreement on the Development of Competition in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2023.

The plan includes the following areas:

• development and protection of competition;
• creating conditions for the effective functioning of commodity markets;
• implementation of the state policy on the development of competition;
• compliance with antimonopoly legislation;
• assistance in the implementation of the Standard for the development of competition in the subjects of the republic on the territory of the region. 

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan acts as the authorized body for the development of competition and implements a set of measures to create favorable conditions for the development of competition in the economy on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Also, for the development of competition in the republican markets of goods, works and services, a Commission under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan has been formed to promote competition in the region, which complies with the provisions of The standard for the development of competition in the subjects of the Russian Federation.

By the decision of the Commission under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan dated November 22, 2022 approved The list of commodity markets to promote competition in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Action Plan ("roadmap") to promote the development of competition in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2019-2025 in a new edition. These changes were made to the documents by the Order of R. N.Minnikhanov dated 31.12.2022 No. 417.

During 2022, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Tatarstan, conducted weekly working groups to identify current problems of competition development in the markets, as well as the implementation of the Roadmap to Promote Competition.
