On December 1, 2022, the Second Kazanysh Architecture and Construction Forum started in Kazan. The forum is dedicated to youth and will run for 3 days, the number of its registered participants from all over Russia is approaching 2 thousand people, each of whom brought to the Forum his vision of the development of modern urban architecture and the organization of modern public spaces.
December 2, 2022 at the Forum in the discussions “The state of urban planning today” and “Urban environment: a dialogue of generations. What do young people need for life and development?” From the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Yulai Minnullin and Head of the Department for the Development and Placement of Productive Forces Irina Yusupova took part.
During the discussion, issues of the state of urban planning activities and planned changes to the Urban Planning Code of the Russian Federation were discussed. Oleg Grigoriev, director of the newly created State Budgetary Institution "Institute for Spatial Planning of the Republic of Tatarstan", who, along with solving the problems of analyzing and calculating social infrastructure, as well as auditing the activities of municipalities to justify in order to identify decisions on construction residential areas without taking into account the necessary infrastructure, will develop master plans for the development of the Kazan, Kama and Almetyevsk agglomerations, the scheme for the territorial development of the Kazan agglomeration.
As part of the second discussion, the speaker was the Vice-President of the Center for Strategic Research, Head of the "Spatial Development" Tatiana Karavaeva. Issues of a comfortable environment, housing and work for young people, the beginning of a career as a young architect, architectural competitions for young people, as well as the role and place of young people in agglomeration development were discussed.
