Midkhat Shagiakhmetov announced the forecast for the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2023-2025 at a meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov spoke at a meeting of the State Council with a forecast of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2023-2025.
The Minister of Economy of the Republic noted that in the current year the formation of the forecast of the Republic was carried out in conditions of high uncertainty, which is largely determined by geopolitical factors. The introduced unprecedented sanctions have significant restrictions on the development of the country's economy.
In order to minimize their influence at the federal level, the Plan of Priority Actions to Ensure the Development of the Russian Economy was promptly adopted and is being implemented. The Republic approved the Plan of the main measures to ensure the sustainable development of the Republic of Tatarstan. As part of the work of the Operational Headquarters of the Republic, appropriate response measures are taken on the problematic issues of enterprises identified as part of field events and the activities of the working group.
Thanks to the foundation laid in previous years, the smooth operation of enterprises and organizations, the stable operation of financial institutions, federal and regional support measures, the implementation of national projects and republican programs, by the end of 2022, the gross regional product of the republic is estimated at 3.7 trillion rubles.
In 2023, the gross regional product is projected at 3.9 trillion rubles. Industry occupies the largest share in the structure of the economy. Taking into account the implementation of the plans of enterprises, the industrial production index is planned at the level of 100.7% in 2023, the volume of agricultural products is planned at the level of 280 billion rubles.
The forecast in housing construction provides for the commissioning of housing in 2023 at the level of 2 million 830 thousand square meters; in total for 2023-2025 it is planned to put into operation more than 8 million square meters of housing.
The plan for the volume of investments in fixed assets for 2023 is 782.7 billion rubles.
“The departure of certain foreign companies from our market enables domestic producers to take their place and gain a foothold in their product groups,” the minister stressed.
Retail trade turnover is projected at 1.3 trillion rubles in 2023. The trend towards an increase in the share of e-commerce in the total turnover also continues. Since the beginning of the year, the number of suppliers on marketplaces has been increasing in the republic.
To ensure the forecast of the socio-economic development of the republic, an important role is given to small and medium-sized businesses, it is planned that the number of employees in this sector in the economy in 2023 will be more than 804 thousand people.
The growth of real wages for 2023 is planned at the level of 102%.
One of the important tools for achieving the goals of the socio-economic development of the republic is the implementation of activities of national projects. In 2022, in the Republic of Tatarstan, within the framework of 13 national projects, 49 regional projects are being implemented, for which a limit of 36.5 billion rubles has been set.
