The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has formed a rating of socio-economic development of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan based on the results of 2021.

In the overall ranking for January-December last year, the leading position was occupied by the Laishevsky district, followed by the city of Kazan, and the Almetyevsk district closes the top three leaders in socio-economic development.

The Chistopol district immediately moved up 10 positions in the rating relative to the positions of the previous month, and the Mamadysh and Rybno-Slobodsky districts rose by 8 positions. The positive dynamics of municipalities in the ranking is due to the growth of gross agricultural output, investments in fixed assets (excluding budgetary funds) per capita, tax and non-tax revenues per capita, as well as a decrease in the level of registered unemployment.

The lowest unemployment rate was registered in Menzelinsky (0.21%), Aktanyshsky (0.19%), Mendeleevsky and Laishevsky (0.24% each) municipal districts. The highest is in Verkhneuslonsky and Nurlatsky districts (0.75%) and the city of Kazan (0.73%).

In terms of per capita, the volume of shipped products on average in the republic amounted to 604.3 thousand rubles.
