A new deputy minister has been appointed to the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan

The Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan became Roman Amirkhanov. The corresponding order was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.

"To appoint Roman Damirovich Amirkhanov to the post of Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan – Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Monitoring of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan from May 26, 2021," the message reads.

Previously, he held the position of Deputy Head-Head of the State Statistics Department in Kazan of the Federal State Statistics Service for the Republic of Tatarstan.

Roman Amirkhanov will oversee the issues transferred to the Ministry as a result of the abolition of the Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Socio-Economic Monitoring, in terms of developing and improving the system of information and analytical support of public authorities with relevant, reliable and complete information both in the Republic of Tatarstan as a whole and in the context of municipalities, interdepartmental information exchange, contributing to improving the efficiency of using information resources in predicting the socio-economic situation in the republic and making managerial decisions.
