Residents of PSEDA invested 23.8 billion rubles in Tatarstan

Territories of advanced socio-economic development are an effective tool for diversifying the economy of single-industry towns, attracting investments that contribute to the opening of new enterprises and creating jobs. There are 5 PSEDA in the Republic of Tatarstan. To date, 113 residents carry out their activities on their territory, which have invested 23.8 billion rubles of capital investments (without VAT) and more than 10 thousand jobs were created.

Since the beginning of this year, the following changes have taken place in the implementation of investment projects on the territory of Tatarstan's PSEDA:

- three residents of PSEDA "Nizhnekamsk" have completed the construction of production facilities; another resident has started construction work;

- seven residents have launched production – 4 of them at the PSEDA "Nizhnekamsk" and 3 at the PSEDA "Chistopol";

- six residents have completed the installation of equipment and commissioning – one resident of PSEDA "Nizhnekamsk", two residents of PSEDA "Chistopol", two residents of PSEDA "Zelenodolsk " and one resident of PSEDA.

It is worth noting that the government of the Russian Federation supported the initiative of the country's constituent entities to extend the terms of mandatory compliance by residents with the requirements for investment projects, both in terms of capital investments and the number of jobs established by the agreements, from 1 year to 2 years for residents who received their status in the period from 01.04.2019 to 31.12.2021. The corresponding decree was adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation on March 11. This exemption gives an opportunity to residents who faced difficulties during the pandemic to implement their investment projects. It should be noted that to date, out of 113 existing residents of Tatarstan PSEDA, only 6 companies have temporarily suspended the implementation of projects.

At the same time, the volume of capital investments at the Zelenodolsk PSEDA exceeds the planned indicators and amounts to 144.6%, the number of jobs is 3.5 times higher than the established values.
