Pharmaceutical company "PROTEK" plans to build a logistics center in Kazan

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a working meeting with representatives of the Russian pharmaceutical company "Protek", which plans to invest 1.5 billion rubles in the construction of a logistics center in Kazan by 2021. The project will use the resources of "Protek" to promote the products of local pharmaceutical manufacturers.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to provide the pharmaceutical company "Protek" a number of tax benefits under the Republican Law "on investment activity in the Republic of Tatarstan" in the implementation of the investment project for the construction of a distribution and logistics center with an area of 15,5 thousand square meters.

" "Protek has successfully established itself in the market of our Republic as a supplier of medicines for preferential categories of citizens under contracts of the Ministry of health of Tajikistan, as well as through partnerships with local producers. The expansion of the concern's presence in our region will strengthen the promotion of products of Republican producers using the distribution network of the company," Minister of economy Farid Abdulganiev said.

For local pharmaceutical plants "Protek" is one of the leading distributors, in connection with which they appealed to the leadership of the Republic with a request to assist in increasing the volume of deliveries to the group of companies "Protek" and its subsidiary pharmacy network.

By September 2021, "Protek" plans to build in Kazan on an area of 2.8 hectares and put into operation an automated distribution and logistics center with administrative, household and warehouse parts. Investments in the project will amount to 1.5 billion rubles, its implementation will create 123 new jobs. Currently, the preparation of design and estimate documentation.
