"Wildberries" opens "daughter" for e-commerce development in Tatarstan

"Wildberries" has registered a subsidiary of LLC "WB VOSTOK" in Zelenodolsk district of Tatarstan for the construction of a distribution center.

Wildberries has registered a subsidiary of LLC "WB VOSTOK" in Zelenodolsk district of Tatarstan. The newly created enterprise after obtaining the status of a resident of PSEDA "Zelenodolsk" will be engaged in the construction of a distribution center, where direct acceptance of goods from local partners will be organized. The status of a resident will allow you to use the reduced rates of insurance premiums and the income tax rate, as well as exempt from the payment of property tax and land tax in the implementation of the company's investment project.

On August 14, 2019, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and LLC "Wildberries" General Director Tatyana Bakalchuk signed a cooperation agreement. The document provides for the construction of a large distribution center "Wildberries" in Zelenodolsk with an area of about 100 thousand square meters. Its opening will create about 5 thousand jobs in the region. Commissioning of the logistics complex is expected in the second half of 2020. Wildberries' investments in construction will amount to about 5 billion rubles.

The government of the Republic is doing everything possible to create the most attractive conditions for local e-Commerce", said the Minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev.
