On May 22, 2014 the delegation of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov will take part in work of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum of 2014. According to the Forum agenda the delegation of the Ministry of Economy will take part in work of session of the World economic forum "Regions of Russia: growth drivers" ("Global crisis not for nothing: what did we learn in recent years? "), on May 23, 2014 in presentation of the first results of pilot approbation of the National rating of investment climate in regions of the Russian Federation organized by Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization Agency of Strategic Initiatives on Promotion of New Projects, and in general meeting of the Supervisory board and Council of Association of Innovative regions of Russia under the leadership of the chairman of the Supervisory board of Association Sergey Naryshkin.

The State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted on May 20, 2014 the law on reform of local government. The law provides modification of the Federal law of October 6, 2003 No. 131-FZ "About the general principles of the organization of local government in the Russian Federation".

On May 22, 2014 at 14 o'clock in St. Petersburg within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2014 session of the World economic forum "Regions of Russia: growth drivers" will take place (Pavilion 5, Conference room 5.3 "Global crisis not for nothing: what did we learn in recent years? "). The forthcoming session of WEF will be devoted to results of the Moscow meetings which have taken place in October 2012 and 2013, work of Council of the global agenda in Russia under the leadership of Alexey Kudrin, including reports "Scenarios for the Russian Federation" and "Regions of Russia: growth drivers".

Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan from 17.05.2014 No. 328 approved the Innovative memorandum for 2014 - 2016. This document defines conceptual bases, principles and the perspective directions of formation of republican innovative policy for medium-term prospect. In the Memorandum the main directions of state regulation of innovative activity and priorities of innovative development of economy of the republic, macroeconomic reference points of innovative policy, target reference points of innovative activity development and sources of financing of innovations in the Republic of Tatarstan are approved. On May 20, 2014 in Kazan solemn closing of the II National championship of working professions of WorldSkills Russia took place. The national team of Tatarstan took the 1st place an all-command place. On the 2nd place team of Moscow, on the 3rd – Sverdlovsk region. The President of the movement WorldSkills International Simon Bartley and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Halikov took part in action. Winners in the "Experts in Industrial Production" direction were awarded by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.

On May 15, 2014 in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan the meeting of the Commission at the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan on corruption counteraction took place. Within meeting the personnel manager of the ministry Venera Sadykova reported on realization of anti-corruption policy in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan for the reporting period – 1 quarter 2014.

On May 20, 2014 the Center of business support  of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in an annual forum "Spring week of business". The deputy director, the head of information and analytical department of the Center of business support  Larisa Parfyonova made a speech addressed to beginners and for acting businessmen in Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan. Within a forum the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan will organize a number of actions such as seminars and master classes for representatives of business, and also a round table named "That stirs  to business development in Tatarstan? Solutions". Carrying out a number of consultations for businessmen from the profile ministries and departments of the Republic of Tatarstan is also planned.

From May 12 to May 18, 2014 in the Kazan (Volga) federal university protection of final qualification works of the Presidential program of preparation of administrative shots in 2013/2014 of listeners in the directions: "Management", "Financial management", "Marketing" and "Management in education" took place. Educational process was carried out from October, 2013 to May, 2014. During study listeners passed offsets, examinations in economy for managers, management of the organization, financial management, strategic management, marketing, economical production and foreign language.

The team of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan on track and field athletics filled up a collection of cups of the ministry, having won the second place in the competitions which have taken place on May 17, 2013 on a football and athletic arena of the Central stadium of Kazan. In a line-up: Regina Gaynova, Oksana Boldyreva, Nikolay Mamakov and Sergey Dolgov. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan command received the first place. Team of the Ministry of Agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan – bronze prize-winners.

In the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan under the leadership of the Prime minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Halikov the meeting on creation in the Republic of Tatarstan on the basis of JSC PLAKART the regional center of engineering on technologies of drawing the nanostructured coverings on metal products according to the program of development of small and medium business of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation took place. JSC PLAKART is the design company  of JSC ROSNANO and possesses unique competences for Russia in area of drawing the nanostructured coverings on metal products for protection against corrosion, restoration of details, consolidation of surfaces, etc.
