On May 21, 2014  with support of Civic chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan and Institute of socio-economic and political researches the forum "Social media in the Republic of Tatarstan" devoted to need of creation of socially oriented media inTatarstan will take place in Kazan. As the organizer of a forum the Interregional institute of consultation and informatization (the winner of competition of grants of the President of the Russian Federation makes the project "NPO + Plus", representing uniform online and an offline a platform on maintenance of activity of NPO in the Republic of Tatarstan).

On May 14, Russian Minister of Health Verokina Skvortsova, who is on a working visit to Tatarstan, shared her impressions of her trip to Kazan.

Giving an interview to journalists, Head of Russian Minister of Health noted she had a very extensive programme in Kazan. A unique blood centre opened in Kazan in the morning with her participation. “We opened a remarkable blood centre, which is one of the best in the country. The centre, erected in 10 months, is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and has the best technologies,” she said.

“We have visited a polyclinic that has an entire consultation and diagnostics centre with very interesting approaches to healthcare informatization and electronic document processing. The interrelation between healthcare, educators, psychologists and social workers gives an opportunity, especially in the critical periods of childhood, to take an integrated approach to every child development and enables promoting such development,” the minister added.

On May 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Ambassador of India to Russia Srinivasan Raghavan Pundi at the Kazan Kremlin.

Welcoming the ambassador, Rustam Minnikhanov said that for the last few years India has achieved success in social and economic development. Trade turnover in 2013 increased by 2.3 times. India is one of main customers of Kazan helicopters plant that supplied 160 civil and military aircrafts to the country from 2000 to 2012. KAMAZ assembly plant is also working in Tatarstan. Cooperation between TAIF group and Reliance group is developing. At the same time, Tatarstan President believes that Tatarstan and India have wide cooperation opportunities. Indian businessmen can implement investment projects at SEZ “Alabuga.” India is a country with the most developed IT industry, and it can take part in Innopolis project.

Tatarstan President also noted contacts in cultural and educational spheres. Days of Indian culture are regularly held in Tatarstan. Tatarstan higher educational institutions successfully cooperate with India, today Indian delegation will take part in celebration of 200th anniversary of Kazan State Medical University.

On May 13, 2014 the advanced training courses for the civil and municipal servants of the Republic of Tatarstan according to the "Economic Planning and Forecasting, Risk Management in the Economy Sphere" program at the Higher school of the public and municipal administration of Kazan Federal University has opened. The head of department of forecasting and strategic development of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Oleg Pelevin acted with a subject about topical issues of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On May 16, 2014 at 11.00 o'clock in Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan the meeting of enterprise community of the Republic of Tatarstan with representatives of "Club of Leaders on Advance of Initiatives of Business" will take place. The meeting will be devoted to questions of formation of favorable enterprise climate in the republic and carrying out "Control purchase" of business conditions. The method of "control purchase" or "the secret buyer" is widely used in the West for quality control of provided services in industry of services . "The club of leaders" decided to apply this method to business procedures when businessmen, undergoing the corresponding procedures, fix the time and financial expenditure, and also problems which they faced.

On May 9, 2014 the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov visited the Yelabuga municipal region of the Republic of Tatarstan and took part in celebration of the 69th anniversary from the date of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The head of the Yelabuga municipal area Gennady Yemelyanov and the chairman of the board of veterans of the city of Yelabuga Rakip Mubarakshin also congratulated residents of Yelabuga with a holiday. In the Yelabuga area lives 1394 veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the Labour front. Midkhat Shagiakhmetov addressed veterans and participants of festive events from the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and from himself personally.

Seminar "Prospects of the Kazan agglomeration: the economy and space" will pass in Kazan on May 14 within the project of development of Strategy of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan till 2030. Developers of the document, representatives of the republican ministries and departments, heads of the municipalities entering the Kazan agglomeration, heads of the largest enterprises of Kazan and nearby areas, experts will participate in a seminar. The seminar purposes – involvement of municipalities' heads  of agglomeration in the Tatarstan-2030 project and specification of the directions of the project work in the Kazan agglomeration.

On May 12, 2014 the deputy minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Sharifullin participated in a republican zone training seminar "The program budget. Tax on real estate of persons" which took place in the National cultural center "Kazan". During a seminar questions of formation of budgets in a section of the state (municipal) programs, and also introductions of a new tax on real estate of persons were considered in detail.

From May 16, 2014 to June 2, 2014 order taking, applying for inclusion in the general demand from the Republic of Tatarstan for receiving a federal subsidy on action "Creation of industrial (industrial) parks" is declared.
