n May 22, at a session “Not wasting a crisis: what (should) we have learned to better manage the global economy?” during St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (May 22-24, 2014), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that today regions cannot deal with infrastructure problems without federal support.

Dean of the Department of free arts and studies of St. Petersburg State University Aleksey Kudrin, who was the key speaker at the session, asked Rustam Minnikhanov about the use of modern technologies and implementation of major projects in Tatarstan.

Answering the question, Rustam Minnikhanov told about the Association of innovative regions of Russia, which aims to inform federal authorities about problems faced by developing regions. He noted that every region has got certain experience and approaches to solving such tasks, however, it cannot deal with many problems without federal support.

On May 22, 2014 in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan held a video conference with municipal areas and city districts of the republic concerning connection and work in the Automated information system of AIS MFS. The meeting was held by the deputy minister of economy Ayrat Shamsiyev. Deputy minister of informatization and communication of the Republic of Tatarstan Timur Zaripov, the head of State Budgetary Institution MFS Natalya Barkova and also representatives of 17 municipal areas of the republic and Executive committee of the city of Kazann participated the mitting.

On May 23, 2014 in the Ministry of Economyof the Republic of Tatarstan the Center of business support will hold meeting of council for selection an investment projects. The beginning is planned at 13:00, address: Kazan, Moskovskaya St., 55, room 326 . During meeting 6 projects will be considered. Experts previously  discussed an order of projects selection during a business breakfast on May 20, 2014. The center of business  support also organized a free seminar for businessmen on a public statement.

On May 22, 2014 meeting of presidium municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan Council  took place. Within meeting the deputy minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Sharifullin made the report on a technique of formation of a monthly rating of social and economic development of municipal areas (city districts) of the Republic of Tatarstan. Marat Sharifulin told about system of indicative management in the Republic of Tatarstan, about a role of municipal areas (city districts) in achievement of the installed indicators of social and economic development of the republic.

In the Ministry of Labour, employment and social protection of the Republic of Tatarstan meeting of Coordination council on compensation, the income and a population standard of living at the Republican tripartite commission on regulation of the social and labor relations on the question "About Financial and Economic Situation and Measures for Repayment of Debt for Salary and Obligatory Pension, Medical and Social Insurance, accepted by organizations" took place. From the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan the head of development of branches of economy and the social sphere departament Zulfia Mukhamedyarova took part in work of Coordination council.

In pursuance of an order of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov the branch ministries are carrying out meetings of the balance commissions for the analysis of the reasons of reduction of enterprises' profit  and development of specific proposals on their elimination . So on May 20, 2014 the Ministry of transport and road economy of the Republic of Tatarstan together with representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan and Tax Service of Russia across the Republic of Tatarstan held the next meeting in which the head of development of branches of economy and the social sphere departament of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Zulfia Mukhamedyarova took part.

On May 20, 2014 the ceremonial opening of the 18th International exhibition "Belpromenergo" in Minsk (Republic of Belarus) which will last till May 23, 2014 took place. The purpose of an exhibition is strengthening of political, economic, humanitarian and welfare connections between the  participating countries. Subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan the Center of export  support represents various directions  of the Republic of Tatarstan industry at an exhibition. The Republic of Tatarstan is presented at an exhibition by the uniform stand.

On May 20, 2014 the concluding session of courses on business English for employees of export  focused subjects of small and average business  organized by subordinated to the Ministry of Economyof the Republic of Tatarstan Center of export  support took place. The course was directed on improvement of knowledge and skills on business communication, business correspondence, presentation of the company and development of other competences.

On May 23, 2014 in PepsiCo Café within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum the presentation of the first results of pilot approbation of the National rating of a condition of investment climate in subjects of the Russian Federation will take place.

Purpose of a rating – to find the best practice in those regions which became the centers of investment appeal and to broadcast their experience on all subjects of the Russian Federation.
