In Kazan, from June 1 till 2 2017, the 68th meeting of the International Club of Directors has been held. The event is organized by the Higher School of Business of the Kazan Federal University. The key topic is "Conditions for Sustainable Economic Development - Situation, Expectations, Experience".

Today, within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) has been signed. The signatures have been put by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Svetlana Chupsheva, the Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.

Today, on the International Children's Day, employees of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has organized a holiday for children with special development issues - children from the Derbyshkinsky orphanage. The invited animator gave the children an unforgettable experience. The children were particularly happy about the tricks in the form of performance with soap bubbles and a small touching zoo. The children's home has received educational toys, baby food.

Today, June 1, the official delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, led by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, takes part in the 21st St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2017), which is held from June 1 till 3 under the slogan "In Search of a New Balance in the Global Economy". Artiom Zdunov has represented the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister among the members of the republican delegation.

Svetlana Chupsheva, General Director of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), has proposed to create the Federal Fund for Support of Social Entrepreneurship in Russia, and Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, supported this idea. In the nearest future, the concept will be coordinated with the entire expert community, development institutions that are somehow engaged in this issue, and will be presented for a wide audience.

On May 31, Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, canceled special economic measures against Turkey, which have been in force since 2016. According to the document, restrictions were removed for Turkish companies working in Russia. The resolution touched the hiring of Turkish citizens for work, as well as the restoration of the Russian-Turkish agreement on visa-free travel. It is about crews of aircraft and citizens of Turkey traveling to Russia on short-term business trips.

The Export Support Center of the Republic of Tatarstan Non-Profit Organization "Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" informs entrepreneurs of the Republic that the Group of the Russian Export Center has launched the first mobile application in Russia aimed at providing support to Russian exporters.

On May 31, 2017, the 3rd Russian Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship Forum (SME Forum) was held on the zero day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. More than ten sessions were held within the framework of the business program of the SME Forum.

On June 22-23, 2017 Ulianovsk will host a conference in "Regional Investment and Innovation Policy: from Stagnation to Development. Experience of Ulianovsk Region", which will deal with the experience of Ulianovsk region in the innovation development, attracting of investments and creation of an innovative infrastructure.

Within a framework of establishing common principles for establishment and collection of non-tax payments the Russian Ministry of Economy together with the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation is conducting a survey among representatives of the business community on regional and municipal payments for delivery of public services, including these being required and mandatory.
