On December 6, 2017. The Russian Export Centre (REC) will conduct the event from the cycle "The Russian Gastro Week" in the city of Tokyo (Japan).
It is planned to assemble over 50 Russian producers of food products for the Russian Gastro Week.
On October 24, at their meeting in Houston, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Univation Technologies Steven Stanley discussed issues related to further cooperation, including under the agreement on long-term strategic cooperation signed between Univation Technologies and Kazanorgsintez Chemical Company.

On October 20, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a video-conference with participation of heads of regional municipalities, which discussed the results of the execution of the consolidated budget of the republic for nine months of the current year and set tasks to be addressed by regional financial, treasury and tax authorities until the end of the year.
Opening the meeting, Minnikhanov said that the main macroeconomic indicators of the republic have progressed as compared to last year. For example, the gross regional product (GRP) has gone up by 3.6 per cent for eight months of 2017. According to Minnikhanov, “retail goods turnover has also shown a positive trend with a growth of 2.3. per cent.”
The Special Economic Zone "Alabuga", for the third consecutive time, has been named as the best SEZ in Europe for large residents according to the version of the authoritative international magazine "FDI Intelligence". This edition of the "Financial Times Group" publishes a yearly ranking of the best special zones around the world, and the SEZ "Alabuga" received the title "The best SEZ in Europe for large tenants in 2015, 2016, and 2017".

On October 18, 2017, the zonal meetings were held in Nizhnekamsk, Pestretzy and Apastovo to discuss the draft law of the Republic of Tatarstan "On the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for the year 2018 and the planned period of 2019-2020".
