On October 18, 2017, the zonal meetings were held in Nizhnekamsk, Pestretzy and Apastovo to discuss the draft law of the Republic of Tatarstan "On the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for the year 2018 and the planned period of 2019-2020".

The deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the ministries and local government bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the events.

A report on the Republic's socio-economic development forecast for 2018-2020 years was made by the Deputies Minister of the Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Oleg Pelevin, Irat Shamsiev, Bulat Haziahmetov.
