A year ago the Russian Federation has lost several positions at once, having fallen from the 12th to the 26th place.

Have prevented to restore the positions to the country falling of energy costs and

imposition of sanctions.

In 2018 the USA for the first time in six years has left top ten.

The decreased efficiency of the highest became the reason of deterioration in positions

educations.

The first and second place remained invariable from last year: leader of a top

– South Korea, on the second place – Sweden. I was at the third place

Singapore which has risen by three lines due to high efficiency and

popularity of the higher education.

On the threshold of the 60th anniversary of Association of Inventors and Innovators of the Republic of Tatarstan public organization, the information and analysis center of the All-Russian Association of Inventors and Innovators (VOIR) prepared material named "The Republic of Tatarstan: Leading Innovations (Positive Experience and Challenges)."

The material is a brochure containing information on the successful experience of the interaction of the Republic authorities with the community of inventors and innovators as well as analysis of the best practices and experience of the Republic of Tatarstan in the area of innovation activities development and intellectual property management.

In Moscow the first meeting of the working group of the State Council of the Russian Federation at which issues of preparation of a meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation on a subject were discussed has taken place on January 30, 2018: "About priority activities of territorial subjects of the Russian Federation on assistance to development of the competition in the Russian Federation".

The meeting has taken place with Levitin Igor Evgenyevich's participation – the Secretary of the State Council of the Russian Federation, the Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, Brechalov Alexander Vladimirovich – the head of the working group, the Head of the Udmurt Republic, Artemyev Igor Yuryevich – the head of Federal Antimonopoly Service, Puzyrevsky Sergey Anatolyevich – the deputy head of Federal Antimonopoly Service, the head of editorial group.

The Minister of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan Artyom Zdunov has participated in an action.

In the Center for Support and Development of Entrepreneurship, businessmen were told how to refinance the loan, what is offered by leasing companies, and what kind of opportunities are provided by the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan

The educational workshop was conducted by Marat Shakirov, director general of JSC Regional Leasing Company of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ildar Zaripov, regional director of the representative office of MSP Bank in Kazan, and Timur Temirgaliyev, director of NPO Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. 

The workshop participants learned about the work of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to Timur Temirgaliyev, the main advantages of the Guarantee Fund are a two-tier system. This system allows you not to contact the Guarantee Fund directly. The amount of remuneration, that is the commission for granting a loan, is also quite concessionary. In particular, a concessionary rate is provided for residents of single-industry towns and the future residents of TOSER (the territory of advanced social and economic development) Nizhnekamsk in the Guarantee Fund: 0.75%.
 

Please note that citizens of the Russian Federation who on the Russian presidential election day on March 18, 2018, will not be at the place of registration, will be able to vote at any polling place. To do that, it is necessary to apply in advance for inclusion into the voter list at your location. Starting from January 31, this application can be submitted in any of 54 multipurpose centers ("My documents") throughout the Republic of Tatarstan as well as in additional offices of the multipurpose centers organized in rural settlements with a population of over 1 thousand people. 

Please note that the application is submitted by the voter personally upon the presentation of a passport, and you can apply only once. Applications for inclusion into the voter list at your location will be taken at the multipurpose centers from January 31 to March 12.

Enterprises of the petrochemical industry of the Republic of Tatarstan shipped products worth more than RUB 1.2 trillion in 2017.  The average output of the basic enterprises of the industry amounted to RUB 14.5 million per capita. Such data was announced yesterday at the meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC Tatneftekhiminvest-holding chaired by the president of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Minnihanov in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. 

In general, the volume of production in petrochemical industry in 2017 remained at the level of the previous year. Since the launch of the Development Program for 2015–2019, the growth rate amounted to 103%, which is below the plan. This figure was exceeded only in the oil production industry.  

During the last year, 35.7 million tons of oil was produced in the Republic of Tatarstan, the growth rate slowed down. The constraining factor was the obligations of Russia to OPEC. Total crude oil exports volumes from the country remained at the level of the previous year, and revenue increased by one-third. In 2017, Tatneft produced 28,586,000 tons of crude oil, 6% of which is super-viscous oil.

In Moscow on February 13, 2018, at the site of the All-Russian Public Organization Business Russia, the Agency for Technological Development will describe its opportunities for the representatives of small- and medium-sized businesses. The Agency will explain about its activities, basic services, and assistance to Russian companies in search of effective process solutions and about several high-tech projects in pharmaceuticals, petrochemical industry, and environment.

Center for Support of Export of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Foundation for Support of Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Tatarstan nonprofit organization invites the export-oriented small- and medium-sized businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan to take part in the 24th MosBuild/WorldBuild Moscow 2018 international exhibition of building and finishing materials that will take place April 3–6, 2018, in Moscow (Expocenter Central Exhibition Center).

The minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Artyom Zdunov made a report at the Extended meeting of the Council of the Association of Enterprises and Industrialist of the Republic of Tatarstan that was held on January 29, 2018.

At the meeting, the performance of the Association of Enterprises and Industrialists of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2017 and activity plan for 2018 were reviewed. The following issues were addressed as well: approval of the report on financial and economic activities in 2017 and cost estimates for 2018; on the joint final board of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan "Improving Labor Productivity"; election of delegates to the Congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Artyom Zdunov spoke about draft amendments prepared by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan to the legislative acts on investment activity aimed at creating more favorable conditions for the operation of enterprises implementing investment projects.

Center for Support of Export of the Republic of Tatarstan notifies the export-oriented small- and medium-sized businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan that JSC RZD Logistics branch in Nizhny Novgorod in close cooperation with Gorkovskaya railway has arranged the 1st export shipment of Russian goods from Kazan to China within a high-speed container train. Thus, logistics operator has expanded Panda Land Bridge railway nonresource export services with the possibility of shipment from Kazan.
Due to high demand for freight transportation along the Russia-China-Russia route, it is planned that the high-speed container shipment service from Kazan to Chengdu will operate on a regular basis.
At present, RZD Logistics regularly performs supply of nonresource export from Vorsino terminal to Dalian (via Russia) and Chengdu (via Mongolia). Last December, container train from Samara to Beijing was also launched.
