Enterprises of the petrochemical industry of the Republic of Tatarstan shipped products worth more than RUB 1.2 trillion in 2017. The average output of the basic enterprises of the industry amounted to RUB 14.5 million per capita. Such data was announced yesterday at the meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC Tatneftekhiminvest-holding chaired by the president of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Minnihanov in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In general, the volume of production in petrochemical industry in 2017 remained at the level of the previous year. Since the launch of the Development Program for 2015–2019, the growth rate amounted to 103%, which is below the plan. This figure was exceeded only in the oil production industry.
During the last year, 35.7 million tons of oil was produced in the Republic of Tatarstan, the growth rate slowed down. The constraining factor was the obligations of Russia to OPEC. Total crude oil exports volumes from the country remained at the level of the previous year, and revenue increased by one-third. In 2017, Tatneft produced 28,586,000 tons of crude oil, 6% of which is super-viscous oil.
