The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from the Department for Evaluation of the Regulatory Impact of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation on holding public consultations on the draft federal law "On Introduction of Amendments to the Federal Law 'On State Regulation of Production and Turnover of Ethyl Alcohol, Alcoholic and Alcohol-Containing Products and Restriction of Consumption (Drinking) of Alcoholic Products.'"

Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation visited Center of Medical Science regional engineering center for medical simulators in Kazan, that was established within the framework of the program of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation aimed at support of small and medium size businesses. This engineering center enables development of hi-tech medical equipment jointly with the leading scientific and production organizations, including development and manufacturing of medical simulator robots for mastering of skills in medical manipulations.
Vladimir Putin paid special attention to an operating room simulator, where robots are used to bring to perfection work of team of doctors — from surgeons to anesthesiologists and auxiliary medical staff, as well as to a simulator of endoscopic invasions, intensive cure simulators, and robots for mastering of pediatric practices. It shall be mentioned, that it is at the Center of Medical Science, where the only facility for manufacturing of children medical simulators in Russia is located.
On May 28 to June 1, 2018, a global event will take place in Moscow, a Meeting of the World Council and the Global Forum on Franchising.
The Global Forum and Moscow Franchise Expo 2018 exhibition will attract more than 6,000 participants at their sites for discussion of the latest trends in franchising, training, execution of contracts, and presentation of new concepts.
Participation is free for delegates and visitors of the forum and the exhibition.

On January 23, 2018, regular meeting of the task force of the presidential Committee for Monitoring of Achievement of the Target Indices of Social and Economic Development of the Russian Federation Defined by the President of the Russian Federation took place in Moscow.
At the meeting, progress in implementation of instructions provisioned in orders of the President of the Russian Federation of May 7, 2012, No. 596-606 was discussed in accordance with the established time limits for reporting.
Republic of Tatarstan was represented at the meeting by Airat Shamsiev, Deputy Minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Ministry of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is implementing accreditation of leasing companies, leaseholders of which are willing to take part in selection process for obtaining of subsidies within the framework of the LEASING-GRANT 2018 program.

Leasing companies, as well as participants of the selection process shall note, that bids from entrepreneurs having signed leasing agreements with leasing companies, that fail to provide the Ministry of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan with documents confirming their compliance with the requirements of the regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan of 19.06.2013 No. 416 On Approval of Procedure for Selection of Small and Medium Size Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan for Provision of State Support in Form of Subsidies will not be considered.
To implement the Municipal Level Industrial Park and Site Creation and Development within the Republic of Tatarstan in 2017-2020 subprogram and Economic Development and Innovative Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2014-2020 state program, in 2017, a program was launched to reimburse expenses associated with payment of interests on loans from Russian credit organizations (hereinafter referred to as the Program).
Conditions and Procedure of the Program shall be regulated by the regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 928 of November 30, 2017.

Applications are still being accepted for participation in the 15th Top Fifty Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan republican contest. Center for Support of Export of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Foundation for Support of Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Tatarstan non-profit organization invites export oriented small and medium size businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan to take part in the 5th Еxpo Russia Serbia 2018 international industrial exhibition, that will take place on March 14-16, 2018, in the city of Belgrade, Serbia.

On January 19, 2018, a workshop for members of Merkhemet-Miloserdie association of women-deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, and heads of associations of women-deputies of municipal entities of the Republic took place at Kazan Fair exhibition hall.
Tatiyana Larionova, Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic, Head of Merkhemet-Miloserdie association of women-deputies delivered a welcoming speech.
Ministry of economy was represented by deputy minister Oleg Pelevin.
In his presentation, Oleg Pelevin told about the main results of implementation of Strategy-2030 in the field of Human Capital, as well as about the tasks, that have to be fulfilled.
