Implementation of financial support measures was discussed at a meeting at the Ministry of Economy

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a weekly meeting on topic: “On implementation of the Action Plan to ensure the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the context of the worsening situation due to the spread of a new coronavirus infection”. Members of the working group on ensuring sustainable development of the economy of the Republic, all municipalities of Tatarstan, representatives of relevant ministries and departments took part.

The meeting participants considered the implementation of financial support programs for entrepreneurs. It was noted that 1,115 enterprises of the republic received an interest-free loan for payment of wages for a total of 3 billion rubles. Also, a loan at 2%, aimed at supporting employment continues to demonstrate high demand.

Special attention was paid to the subsidy program for preventive and disinfection measures. According to municipalities, 3,994 applications have been submitted under the program. The program is valid until August 15, this subsidy can also be used by 236 socially oriented non-profit organizations of the republic.

Also, the members of the working group were informed that the State Duma adopted and approved a law allowing businesses that slightly exceeded the limits on revenue (no more than 150 million rubles per year) and the number of employees (less than 100 people) under a simplified system taxation, temporarily switch to a special tax regime, rather than a general regime. This mode can be used if the revenue is from 150 to 200 million rubles, and the number of employees is from 100 to 130 people. At the same time, for the period of such an excess, increased tax rates are provided - with the object of taxation “income” - 8% instead of 6%, with taxation “income minus expenses” - 20% instead of 15%.

Also within the framework of the meeting, reports on the implementation of measures to ensure the restoration of employment and incomes of the population, economic growth and long-term structural changes from Aktanyshskiy, Vysokogorskiy and Kamsko-Ustinskiy districts were heard.
