Russia’s largest ice cream producer “Chelny Kholod” will receive an interest-free loan in the amount of 250 million rubles to increase production capacity from the Single-Industry Towns Development Fund.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov paid a working visit to the Arskiy region. A strategic session was held in the framework of preparation of a new cycle of reports of the heads of municipalities at a weekly meeting with participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Tatarstan plans to launch an application, where everyone can invest in farm products and purchase them at a reduced price. This year, the project, with support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, won a grant from the “Start” competition of the Innovations Promotion Fund in the amount of 3 million rubles, the funds received were directed to the project.

On December 18, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a meeting with young Tatarstan specialists living outside the country, as part of the annual republican forum of compatriots “Discovery of talents” in the IT park.

10 investment projects were approved today at a meeting of the commissions for consideration of applications for the conclusion of agreements on implementation of the activities of “Naberezhnye Chelny”, “Nizhnekamsk”, “Zelenodolsk” and “Chistopol” TASEDs. The event was traditionally held in the Cabinet of Ministers under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksei Pesoshin. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov also took part in the meeting of the commissions.

More than 100 thousand are registered today as self-employed in Tatarstan - this is 10% of the total number of self-employed in the country.
