Midkhat Shagiakhmetov met with young specialists
On December 18, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a meeting with young Tatarstan specialists living outside the country, as part of the annual republican forum of compatriots “Discovery of talents” in the IT park.
The meeting participants shared the best world practices planned for implementation on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, and also analyzed cases of scaling republican projects outside the region. In total, a number of projects were presented, some of which have already been implemented by compatriots in Western Europe and the USA.
In particular, projects on maintenance and microbiological control in the oil and gas industry, interactive practices for teaching financial literacy and legal and practical regulation of the self-employment sphere, for implementation of technology and UXR training, as well as a project for a student entrepreneurship support center were presented.
Midkhat Shagiakhmetov noted that the Ministry of Economy and the Government of the Republic are ready to support the presented projects in their implementation and further implementation in their native Tatarstan.
Already today the “Start” microloan is available for students and graduates of universities in the region. Since December 1, the republic has also launched the self-employed microfinance program. Young entrepreneurs who meet the conditions of the program can receive up to 500 thousand rubles at a reduced rate. In addition, the Ministry of Economy provides information, consulting and educational support to young entrepreneurs, as well as assistance in participating in exhibitions, certification of products, placing and promoting them on online trading platforms.
Let us remind you that the Forum has been held annually since 2015 within the framework of the state program “Strategic Talent Management in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015–2023”. In 2020, the event was attended by 39 young specialists living outside the Republic of Tatarstan - representatives of 10 countries from different fields of activity.
