We inform entrepreneurs of the Republic about opening of a new export railway route to China

The export support center of the Republic of Tatarstan NO “Entrepreneurship support fund of the Republic of Tatarstan” informs businessmen of the Republic of Tatarstan that on May 5, 2017 a new export railway route to China was opened. The project has been implemented under the guidance of the Russian Export Center (REC) in partnership with “Russian Railways Logistics”, “Trans Container”, and “Freight Village RU”. 

The first containers in a test mode were shipped from the station Vorsino (Kaluga Region) to the PRC through the city of Zabaikalsk. The main destination points are – the port of  Daljan (with further transportation by feeder ships to any port or truck to a Consignee) and station Shilong (Guangzhou Province) being the most interesting in terms of expansion of Russian goods in Southern China. Among the suppliers included in the first containers going by a new route to China, there are manufacturers of food products, equipment, etc. 

The main advantage of the new route - is reduction of cargo delivery time up to 14 days and significant cost savings. The estimated shipping cost of delivery of a universal 40 feet container to Daljan - is 2600 USD, a refrigerator one - 4500 USD, depending on the number of ordered containers in the coupling. Sending a universal 40 feet container to Shilun will cost 3200 USD - per container. The exporter should sign the agreement on the forwarding services with the company “RZD-Logistics”.

Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstasn wishing to use the new export railway route to China are requested to inform bout their decision to the Export Support Center of RT by tel. (843) 524-76-70 or by email  tatexport@yandex.ru. In the letter you should specify the following information:

1. Customer's requisites for conclusion of the contract (contact person for loading);

2. Route of delivery;

3. Name of goods, their quantity, gross/net weight, volume, type of packaging, cost;

4. Consignee details for the invoice (contact person for unloading);

5. Does the cargo need customs clearance or is to be done separately by the sender;

6. Special conditions of delivery (if available).
