Artem Zdunov Took Part in the President of the Russian Federation’s Economic Council Working Group Session

On the 2nd of February the Minister of Economy Artem Zdunov took part in fourth session of the President of the Russian Federation’s Economic Council Working Group by areas of activity “Priorities of structural forms and sustainable economic growth” chaired by Alexei Kudrin. Subject of discussion “Restrictions and tasks of budgetary policy up to 2024 and long-term prospects”.

The Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov and President of the Russian Academy for Foreign Trade Sergey Sinelnikov-Murylev spoke at the session. The participants of the Working Group underline necessity of striking a balance between establishment of conditions for ensuring long-term sustainable economic growth and support of budget balance. Various suggestions on budget manoeuvre towards investments increase in human capital and non-increase of tax burden on business were considered during discussion.
