The start date of registering the international passports of a new model in MFC has been postponed

Mr. Vladimir Putin approved the list of assignments following the results of the meeting with members of the Government, held on January 11, 2017 . The document contains a number of assignments to the RF Government and the regional authorities, including in part the work of Multifunctional Centers of State and Municipal Services (hereinafter - the MFC).

In particular one of the assignments postponed the start date for rendering a service in MFC in respect of formalization and issue of the international passport of the RF citizen of a new model. Previously it was envisaged that since February 1, 2017 the indicated service would be rendered in the MFC, located in the settlements with population  from 100 thous. people  and since 2018 – in settlements with population from 50 thous. people.

According to the published document the RF Government has been instructed to finalize the fulfillment of actions for arrangement of this service in the MFC, having envisaged the required technical requirements to the equipment and premises until October 15, 2017.

Please be reminded that as of now the MFC of the Republic of Tatarstan receives applications and documents for issue of regular and international passport of the RF citizen of an old model.
