Tatarstan entrepreneurs will compete for the title of exporter of the year

Tatarstan continues to accept applications from businesses to participate in the regional stage of the Exporter of the Year competition. The best enterprises in 13 nominations will be determined within the framework of the national project "Small and medium-sized enterprises".  

Applications are accepted at the regional Export Support Center until May 23. When selecting the winners, the jury will analyze criteria such as export volumes, the activity of companies in international markets and methods of promoting goods abroad.

The competition is held to stimulate and develop the foreign economic activity of entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as to share best practices in exporting goods and services. 

"Over the 6-year history of the competition, 246 enterprises have become participants in the republic. According to the results of the regional stage, the winners will be determined, who, in addition to the prestigious status of the laureate company, will receive memorable gifts, as well as the opportunity to use the status of "Exporter of the Year" in their promotion. The winners in the main nominations will receive a prize for participation in an international specialized exhibition with an individual stand. The applications of the regional competition will be automatically sent to participate in the All-Russian award," said the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of TatarstanNatalia Kondratova. 

This year, the number of nominations has been expanded from 7 to 13 nominations, which will encourage more businesses. Export-oriented companies in the region can apply in the following categories: 

Main nominations:   

• The best exporter in the field of industry;  
• The best exporter in the service sector;  
• The best exporter in the field of agriculture (agro-industrial complex);  
• The best exporter in the field of high technology;  
• Breakthrough of the Year;  
• The best female exporter;  
• The best young entrepreneur is an exporter.  

Additional nominations:  

• The most exotic export country;  
• The largest export geography;  
• The best family-owned export company;  
• New export product;  
• The best exporter of social entrepreneurship;   
• The best exporter of creative industries.

According to the terms, the winners of 2023 cannot participate in the competition. One company can apply for only one main nomination.
