Dmitry Medvedev, the Chairman of the Russian Government, has approved Russian economy support plan for 2017 prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
“Upon the results of two meetings held 10 and 17 January, I have signed the papers, and specifically approved the list of measures and instructions aimed at ensuring sustainable social and economic development of our country in the current year” - said Chairman of the Russian Government, Dmitry Medvedev, at the meeting on road industry development. In the plan are scheduled supportive measures for individual economic sectors. In particular it is planned to subsidize Russian companies of automotive industry, transport, agriculture, road - construction and municipal machinery industry, mechanical engineering for food and processing industry. State support for light industry domestic enterprises is also provided.
Additional capitalization from Industrial Development Fund is also expected. In 2017, at least 50 projects aimed at improving products competitiveness are planned to finance for the account of Fund assets.
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
