Council at the president of Russia has approved the passport of the project of complex monotowns development

At a meeting of presidium of Council at the President of Russia for strategic development and priority projects the passport of the priority program "Complex Development of Monotowns" is approved on November 30.
The main objective of the program consists in decrease in dependence of monotowns on the city-forming enterprises by creation of 230 thousand new jobs by the end of 2018. Term of implementation of the program: from November, 2016 till December, 2025 (inclusive).
It is necessary to develop for all 319 monotowns the programs of development including including measures for diversification of economy, improvement of the urban environment, development of the human capital.
