Today the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has participated in a ceremony of start of production of new Ford Kuga on the platform of the Alabuga special economic zone.
The deputy minister of the industry and trade of the Russian Federation Alexander Morozov, the vice-chairman of Vnesheconombank – the board member Tatyana Sakharova, the Minister of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan Artyom Zdunov, the deputy prime minister of RT – the Minister of Industry and Trade of RT Albert Karimov and other officials have also participated in the action.
The project of Ford Sollers joint venture for modernization and expansion of production capacities, release of modern cars and Ford engines with the assistance of Vnesheconombank is implemented since 2011. The total cost of the project makes 115 billion rubles, Vnesheconombank has financed 43,8 billion rubles.
