The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation will start a new format of territorial innovative clusters support

On July 15, 2016 in Moscow under the chairmanship of the Secretary of state – the deputy minister of economic development of the Russian Federation Oleg Fomichev adjusting meeting about participation of heads of the regional ministries, specialized organizations of clusters and institutes of development for the purpose of an explanation of conditions of participation in the competitive selection made by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation on implementation of the new priority project "Development of Innovative Clusters — Leaders of World-class Investment Appeal" has taken place.

The project is directed to creation and development of leaders – world-class innovative territorial clusters of investment appeal on the basis of their exit to world level of efficiency of support of business activity and embedding global production chains.

The planning horizon is determined by implementation of this project until the end of 2020, and project implementation begins already in the current year.
