MPC will begin to issue passports and to change the driving license

According to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation the Government of the Russian Federation has made the decision to make changes to the resolution approving the list of the state services which providing will be organized in the multipurpose centers of providing the state and municipal services (MPC).

The specified list will be expanded due to the services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (which are earlier rendered by Federal Migration Service): receiving and replacement of the passport of the citizen of the Russian Federation and registration of the international passport of "an old sample". Now on these state services MPC have the right only for documents acceptance, and since November will be able already to issue ready passports. The draft of the resolution also provides a possibility of registration in MPC since January 1, 2017 of the international passport with an electronic medium of information (the international passport of "a new sample"). It will be absolutely new service in MPC and she will be available at least in one MPC branch in settlements with population over 100 thousand people.
