The Government commission will be engaged in regional development of the Russian Federation

The prime minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed the resolution on transformation of the commission on territorial planning to the Government commission on regional development in the Russian Federation.
According to the document, again formed coordinating body is created for ensuring coordinated actions of the interested FEA and the supreme executive bodies of the government of territorial subjects of the Russian Federation and local government by preparation and implementation of documents of strategic territorial planning, mechanisms of regional development.
