The network of children's science and technology parks in Russia will be extended

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation intends to develop programs of scientific and technical and engineering creativity on the basis of the network of children's science and technology parks created in regions. The Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Dmitry Livanov at a meeting of the Government of the Russian Federation reported on January 21, 2016 about it.

The "New Model of System of Additional Education of Children" project is realized together with Agency of strategic initiatives, and provides creation in the Russian Federation of a network of children's science and technology parks. The purpose of the project is increase of interest of children in engineering and technical creativity.

We remind, the first children's science and technology parks "Kvantorium" opened at the end of 2015 in Naberezhnye Chelny, and also Khanty-Mansiysk and Nefteyugansk (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District). In "Kvantoriums" children get additional education by technical professions of the future already today.
