The application of Naberezhnye Chelny for obtaining the status of the territory of the advancing development got support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation

On September 9, 2015 in Moscow the first meeting of the Commission on questions of creation and functioning of territories of the advancing social and economic development in monoprofile municipalities of the Russian Federation took place.

At the meeting of the Commission 16 demands of subjects of the Russian Federation for creation of the territories of the advancing social and economic development (TASED) in the territory of monotowns were considered. Following the results of meeting 4 demands, including the demand from the Republic of Tatarstan for creation of TASED in the territory of the monotown of Naberezhnye Chelny were supported.
