The Law "About Strategic Planning in the Republic of Tatarstan" was adopted

On March 16, 2015 the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov signed the Law "About Strategic Planning in the Republic of Tatarstan". The law establishes legal bases of strategic planning in the republic, powers of public authorities and local governments of Tatarstan, and governs the relations arising between participants of strategic planning in the course of a goal-setting, forecasting, planning and programming of social and economic development.

Main objective of the Law on strategic planning in the Republic of Tatarstan is creation of a legal basis for development, construction and functioning of complex system of the state strategic planning in the field of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for the long-term and medium-term periods, and also reduction of the legislation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the sphere of state planning and forecasting in compliance with the Federal law of June 28, 2014 No. 172-FZ "About strategic planning in the Russian Federation".
