Competition on granting to the rural settlements of the Republic of Tatarstan has started

According to the resolution of the Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan of 29.08.2013 No. 614 in the republic started competition on granting grants to rural settlements. Competition is held for stimulation of activities of local governments of the rural settlements of the Republic of Tatarstan for improvement of quality of life of country people of the republic and the solution of socially significant problems of rural territories.

Rural settlements will be estimated on the following indicators of efficiency of activity of local governments: average annual population, the tax and non-tax income of the rural settlement on one inhabitant, number of subjects of small and average business (on 100 people), quantity of a number of cattle, input of housing on one resident of the rural settlement, a share of extent of roads with a hard coating in the general extent of roads of the rural settlement (percent), quantity of the crimes committed in the territory of the rural settlement (on 100 people).


Following the results of competition winners will receive 1 million rubles of budgetary funds. The quantity of grants to each municipal area is defined depending on population of the rural settlements which are a part of the respective area: 2 grants – at population of rural settlements to 22 thousand people; 3 grants – at population of rural settlements over 22 thousand people.
