Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the schools' solemn lines of the Yelabuga municipal area devoted to Knowledge Day

On September 1, 2014 the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the festive actions devoted to Knowledge Day in the Yelabuga municipal area.

This year in Yelabuga and the Yelabuga area 8238 pupils sat down at school desks, from them 957 went to school for the first time. Midkhat Shagiakhmetov addressed pupils with a congratulation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

"Knowledge Day is an important event in life of our children, especially first graders, in life of each parent, and also students. Today very serious requirements are imposed to education, today we have to be competitive. For children it is necessary to try study diligently to be demanded", – the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan noted.

On behalf of the Head of the Yelabuga region his deputy Zulfia Sungatullina congratulated pupils and teachers.

Later the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov together with the Head of the Yelabuga municipal area Gennady Yemelyanov congratulated Claudia Pustobayeva who celebrated her 95 anniversary this day.
