The Minister of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in enlarged meeting of the Council of Associations of the enterprises and businessmen of the Republic of Tatarstan

On the enlarged meeting of the Council of Associations of the enterprises and businessmen of the Republic of Tatarstan which has taken place on July 11, 2014  as the basic the question of increase of labor productivity at the republic enterprises was considered.

Reports on work carried out in this direction were made by the Minister of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov, the director of the Center of energy saving technologies at the Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan Evgeny Martynov, and also heads of a number of the republican enterprises.

More than 60 leading large enterprises of industrial sector of the republic were invited to meeting.

Work of Council began with speech of the Minister of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov in which the current tendencies of economic development of the republic, including on the indicators characterizing labor productivity, the factors influencing productivity, the measures taken at republican level directed on growth of competitiveness of economy were noted.

For the invited enterprises the director of the Center of energy saving technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan Evgeny Martynov presented presentation about instruments of increase of competitiveness and ensuring growth of labor productivity at the enterprises, including within the "Labour Productivity Increase at the Enterprises of Machine-building and Petrochemical Complexes of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2013-2016" program. In particular the main directions and tasks for the enterprises, directed on increase of efficiency of activity of the enterprises were designated, and a number of possible instruments of increase of labor productivity is offered.

Heads of such leading enterprises acted as examples of successful realization of actions for increase in labor productivity as JSC Chemical Plant of L. Ya. Karpov, as JSC Kazan Electrotechnical Plant, JSC Kazan Plant Elektropribor, JSC POZIS. The enterprises told about the reached results, the existing problems containing growth of productivity, and tasks of further work in this direction.

Summing up the results concerning labor productivity increase, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov told about the draft of the Federal law "About industrial policy in the Russian Federation" and the tasks facing the enterprises for increase of productivity and competitiveness.

The particular interest of the enterprises was caused by questions of mechanisms of support of the enterprises for implementation of programs for labor productivity increase, the bill "About Industrial Policy in the Russian Federation", activity of the engineering centers and the organization in the republic of work on import substitution.

Also within meeting the question of the draft of the program "Strategic Management of Talents in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020" was considered.
