The deputy minister of economy Artyom Zdunov made a speech at enlarged meeting of Committee the Federation Council on agrarian and food policy and environmental management

In the Federation Council of Federal Assembly of Russia under the leadership of the Chairman of Committee on agrarian and food policy and environmental management Gennady Gorbunov enlarged meeting of committee on discussion of the Protein of Russia project took place. The main report was made by the director general of the Biotekhnologii company Alexander Hermann who plans to open in Russia a network of plants on production of a proteinaceous concentrate from domestic vegetable raw materials. One of the processings up to 25,0 thousand tons such plants is supposed to be placed in the territory of Industrial park "Chistopol". The budget cost of construction of plant is estimated at 4100 million rubles, about 150 workplaces will be thus created. Besides, the company plans to open the R&D network of the centers of agro-industrial biotechnologies.
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
