The delegation of the Province of Quebec (Canada) visited the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan

On February 13, 2014 in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan the meeting with delegation of the Province of Quebec (Canada) took place.

In a meeting under the leadership of the deputy minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Artyom Zdunov the deputy head of Executive committee of Kazan Ivan Kuznetsov, the head Datatsentra of "Science and technology park took part in the sphere of high technologies "IT park" Danil Sadriyev, the deputy director general of JSC MVEN Ilya Ermolenko, heads of structural divisions of the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of transport and road economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of the industry and trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.

From delegation of the Province of Quebec (Canada) there was the Second secretary of Embassy of Canada at Russia Corinne Petrisor, a Director of representation of the Province of Quebec in Moscow Nicolas Fran and the representative of Embassy of Canada in Russia on economic problems Irina Tarasenko.

During a meeting Artyom Zdunov acquainted representatives of delegation with the main results of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan, told about investment appeal of the republic.

Within meeting questions of development of cooperation of the Quebec/Canadian companies were discussed with the enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan for the directions of aircraft industry, IT sector, energy efficiency and transport electrification.
The deputy director general of JSC MVEN Ilya Ermolenko presented to delegation the project of production of high-speed parachute saving systems for aircraft.

The director of representation of the Province of Quebec in Moscow Nicolas Fran noted that for the organization of cooperation with the Tatarstan enterprises in the aircraft industry sphere in September, 2014 to Kazan visit of the aircraft-building companies of Canada is planned.

Within the program of stay in Kazan the delegation visited the Technopolis "Himgrad" and "Science and technology park in the sphere of high technologies "IT park".
