The state program "Development of information and communication technologies in the Republic of Tatarstan "Open Tatarstan" for 2014 - 2020" is approved

The Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan resolution No. 1000 from 17.12.2013 approved the state program of the Republic of Tatarstan "Development of information and communication technologies in the Republic of Tatarstan "Open Tatarstan" for 2014 - 2020".
The purpose of the program is to introduce and use widely informational, communication and innovative technologies in all fields of activity, to create of indivisible information society of the Republic of Tatarstan and to integrate the Republic of Tatarstan into global information society.
The realization of program actions will allow by 2020to achieve:
- to increase the efficiency of public administration and local government, interaction of civil society and business with public authorities, to increase the quality and efficiency of providing the state services;
- to form the modern information and telecommunication infrastructure in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, to provide on its basis of high-quality services and high availability level of information and technologies to the population;
- to increase the quality of education, medical care, social protection of the population, to develop the system of cultural education on the basis of information and telecommunication technologies use;
- the development of economy of the republic on the basis of information and telecommunication technologies use;
- to increase the efficiency of transport management, level of transportations safety for passengers, special and dangerous cargoes;
- to provide the protection of information resources of public authorities according to existing normative documents.
