The number of marketplace sellers increased by 7% in Tatarstan

According to the results of 9 months of 2025, the number of online sellers in Tatarstan increased by more than 7% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounts to about 72 thousand subjects. 

According to the Association of Online Commerce Companies (AOCC), Tatarstan residents spent the most on food, furniture and household goods, clothing and footwear, digital and household appliances, as well as digital goods in the 3rd quarter of this year.

According to the program for the development of online commerce in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2023-2025, approved by Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 01/27/2023 No.138-R., support is provided to regional small and medium-sized businesses and the self-employed engaged in online commerce.

Among the measures to promote republican sellers are the organization of forums and conferences dedicated to logistics and e-commerce, strengthening cooperation with international online platforms, expanding the network of points of reception and delivery of products, and establishing cooperation with logistics companies. In addition, benefits are provided for those who build logistics distribution centers, and educational programs aimed at improving the skills of entrepreneurs and self-employed citizens are being implemented.

Sellers are supported by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and its development institutes under the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
