Over the past 5 years, the share of women entrepreneurs in Tatarstan has increased from 39% to 41% of the total number of entrepreneurs and amounted to more than 47 thousand people.
In total, 116.5 thousand individual entrepreneurs are registered in Tatarstan, 41% of which are women in business.
Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic and the Republic of Tyva are also among the leading regions in terms of increasing the share of women in business over the past 5 years.
Currently, about 1.9 million women are sole proprietors in the Russian Federation, which is 41% of the total number of sole proprietors in the country. About 6.5 million more women are registered as self-employed, accounting for 44% of the total number of self-employed citizens.
The highest concentration of women entrepreneurs is observed in social services (84%), clothing manufacturing (72%), travel agencies (71%), education (70%), legal and accounting services (67%), veterinary medicine (60%), insurance (60%) and human resources management (HR) (58%).
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is always ready to provide comprehensive support within the framework of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy" and to support women entrepreneurs at the stage of starting a business or scaling it up.
Entrepreneurs and the self-employed of the republic can receive microloans on favorable terms, guarantees, grants, property support and non-financial services.
