The delegation of Tatarstan held a meeting with representatives of the republic working in Islamic financial institutions abroad.
During the visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, a delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a meeting with people from Tatarstan working in Islamic financial organizations abroad.
The meeting was attended by Ansar Waliullah, a representative of the internal Sharia Control of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB, UAE), Master of Science in Islamic Banking and Finance, Certified Sharia Advisor and Auditor (AAOIFI), as well as Ruslan Sabirzyanov, Senior Manager of the Internal Sharia Audit Department of ADCB (UAE), member of the Ulema Council of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan, member of the Sharia Council of Alif Bank (Tajikistan), Master of Islamic Banking and AAOIFI certified specialist.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the development of Islamic (partner) finance in Russia, the exchange of experience and the participation of Tatarstan experts in the formation of professional standards and practices of Islamic banking.
Midkhat Shagiakhmetov noted that cooperation with people from Tatarstan working in Islamic financial institutions abroad is an important area for developing competencies in this area and strengthening ties with international financial organizations.
